In this unit, students have an opportunity to respond to a quote from Desmond Tutu about hope. “HOPE is being able to see that there is LIGHT despite all of the darkness”. They are encouraged to represent this message of healing and restored community with color, shape, symbol, and form as they choose in a visual art piece.
