Restorative Justice Practices
This unit examines the issue of bullying in schools, how Restorative Justice concepts can be applied to bring healing to students, and also how students can learn to advocate for themselves and others when bullying situations occur. This unit introduces students to several effective communication skills and encourages students to bring understanding healing and a peaceful resolution in bullying situations using a dialogue process. Students will have opportunities to effectively engage in public speaking, integrate their viewpoints, advocate for their ideas, and present their ideas in clear and creative ways.
