This unit integrates mathematical concepts such as statistics, ratios, fractions, and real-world numeric problem solving with the conflict resolution concepts of positions, interests, and needs as well as conflict styles. Students complete a Conflict Style Instrument survey and rank their personal perceptions about how they handle conflict. The data generated from this survey is analyzed to show individual and group trends.
