Find Your Conflict Style

We all have our own tendencies for dealing with conflict. It may differ from situation to situation (depending on who we are dealing with), but we generally have a main way of approaching conflict in our lives.

Take this questionnaire to figure out your conflict style.

After you have finished taking the questionnaire, transfer the number that you circled above for each question. For example, if you circled 2 for question A, write the number 2 in the space provided below.

 

Score Explanation

After adding the numbers in each of the 5 columns, ask yourself, which is the column that has the highest number? The column with the highest score indicated the typical way that the survey-taker normally behaves when faced with conflict. The column meanings are as follows:
